Welcome!

This is the official website of the Victor Bonney Society. Read on to see who we are, what we do and what is coming up soon!

The VBS has been in existence for over 30 years now, originally forming as a scientific and social society for obstetricians and gynaecologists who were either working as senior registrars or newly qualified consultants in London. In those heady days, weekend meetings were held as far afield as Chepstow, but nowadays, the Society's activities are confined to well within the M25!

We hold three events each year - a Spring and Autumn Scientific Lecture, held at the RCOG in London, and a Winter Ball, always held in a fine hotel.

All trainees working in O&G within London and the South East are welcome to VBS events, as are newly qualified consultants and, of course, those more established of our seniors who have been members in their junior days! In addition, we are always welcoming to medical students and FY doctors who are passionate about O&G!!
